Card of the Month Club Icon

Good morning!

I’m back with info on the 2016 Card of the Month club and how you can win one of 4 spots in my list of monthly card recipients. I have some really pretty cards lined up for the new year that I think you’ll all like. I am also posting this a little earlier than I usually do in hopes of getting a few more entries and also getting the January cards in the mail a little sooner.

NOTE I added a couple new twists to the entry process, so read through the entry instructions carefully!
As I said, for 2016 I will offer FOUR chances to receive a card a month from yours truly! If you’re chosen as one of the winners, you get a different card every month that you can use to give to someone else! I try to send the cards out within the first couple of weeks of each month, but please don’t hold me to a firm date. Life gets in the way sometimes… : )

For 2016, this is what you have to do to enter:

  1. Leave a comment on this post . Yes, this is an unabashed appeal for blog love but you could win so it’s not all bad right?  Do this on or BEFORE DECEMBER 11th. Remember to include the sequential number for your comment so I know who you are. (For example, if the person before you is the first to leave a comment, your comment would be #2)
  2. NEW THIS YEAR: You get extra entries if you SHARE and/or TWEET  this blog post. Simply use the icons at the bottom of the post to share or tweet. If you do both, that’s two extra entries!
  3. Check back on December 13th.  I’ll use Random.org on December 12th to choose FOUR winners and post them here. This is why you’ll need to check back to see if you’ve won. Winners will need to provide me with their postal mailing address so that I know where to send the cards. If I don’t hear back from the winners by December 17th, I will choose again, so make sure you check back! : ) This is a new twist this year, because I want to get the January cards out as soon as possible.

There’s really only one major proviso on this offer and that is in regards to whether the winner(s) are US residents or not. I have always left this open to anyone who is good enough to follow my blog. While I want to continue to leave it open for anyone and everyone, I will adjust my shipping plans for anyone living outside of the US. In that instance, I will ship ALL 12 cards in a single package in mid-January.

Well? What are you waiting for?!

Send me a little blogger love, tweet, share, spread the word, and maybe you’ll be one of the four lucky 2016 Card of the Month Club winners! Also, even if you pass on the extra entry opportunity for sharing and retweeting (but really, why would you?) please share this with your friends and family. After all, who doesn’t like getting happy mail?

Good morning!
AS PROMISED… I have an extra fun post this week!

I took a gander at the calendar last week and realized it’s time to start thinking about the 2014 Card of the Month Club already!
Again this year, I will offer FOUR chances to receive a card a month from yours truly!
Here’s how this works:
You need to leave a comment on this post telling me how much you’d love to be the winner by JANUARY 10th. Remember to include the sequential number for your comment so I know who you are. (For example, if the person before you is the first to leave a comment, your comment would be #2)

On January 12th, I’ll use Random.org to choose FOUR winners and on Monday the 13th I’ll send the first round of cards off.

Here’s what’s kinda cool about this. If you’re chosen as one of the winners, you get a different card every month that you can use to give to someone else!
Check back on Friday for a sneak peek at the January card.

Well? What are you waiting for?!

Send me a little blogger love and maybe you’ll be one of the four lucky 2014 Card of the Month Club winners!

Happy New Year!!!

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas holiday and are ready for a fresh new year.
To get things off to a great start, I have another reminder to make sure you enter your name into the contest for one of four spots in my 2013 Card of the Month Club. I’ll be drawing the 4 lucky winners on the 14th of this month and today’s card is a sneak peek at what January has in store. CLICK HERE NOW to enter your comment on my original post for the contest.  Tell your friends too! Think what a hero you’d be if one of them won because, really, who doesn’t love FREE cards?
January’s card will go out on the 15th, but for now, here’s what went into making it:

The card base is a half sheet of Basic Gray. I cut a 4-1/4 x 3 piece of striped paper from the Twitterpated DSP collection and trimmed the top edge with a Ridinghood Red punched edge. The edge was done with my Fiskars Threading Water edge punch and the strip was adhered to the reverse side of the striped paper and then to the card.
Next, I cut a 2-1/2x 4 panel of Neenah Solar White and a 2-3/4 x 4-1/4 panel of Baja Breeze to layer it on. The tree and snowman were both stamped on the white panel with Basic Gray ink. The sentiment was stamped on a scrap of white and punched with a 1-1/2 inch circle punch. It is layered on a scallop circle of Ridinghood Red.  The snowman and sentiment letters were colored with markers and the snowman was glittered with 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I also stamped first and second generation Baja Breeze snowflakes in the upper left corner of the snowman panel before adhering it to the Baja Breeze panel and to the card. Finally, the sentiment is popped up on a couple small dimensionals.

S: Happy Winter , Branch Out
P: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Ridinghood Red, Neenah Solar White, Twitterpated DSP
I: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Ruby Red marker, Not Quite Navy Marker
A: scallop circle punch, 1-1/2 inch circle punch. Fiskars Threading Water edge punch, 2 way glue, glitter

I would love to get cards! What a great idea. I’ve seen this before, but wasn’t lucky enough to win. Maybe this is my year!
